At Gris Reproducción-CIRH lab, before starting treatment we are in favor to conduct a preliminary study with all the necessary data and diagnostic tests.
When the entire diagnosis process is complete, and we know what the real situation of each couple is, then we start the Assisted Human Reproduction Program that best fits their needs.
Two aspects affect, as a general rule, the choice of treatment to followr:
- The age of the future mom.
- The disease that prevents, so far, the couple to achieve a pregnancy.
In the consulting room and once all information is known in full each case, various options are discussed and are selected, with the collaboration of the couple, which is considered most appropriate. We will even take the position of having to discourage the initiation of these proceedings if no possibility of success is in sight.
As a general rule, we recommend the treatment which gives us a good option for pregnancy.
Although there are multiple treatments in the field of human reproduction, the most frequent and usually more effective are:
- Induction of ovulation
- Artificial insemination - IA
- In vitro fertilization - IVF
- Microinjection sperm - IVF/ICSI
- Program donation of gametes and embryos
